Highland Haus started as a shared dream between two locals who believe good design should feel personal, thoughtful, and a little magical. Built in the heart of the neighborhood that raised us, we create work that reflects our roots—art-forward, community-minded, and full of purpose.
We’re building a studio where creativity and connection go hand in hand. Whether we’re designing a brand identity or crafting goods for everyday joy, our goal is to bring beauty, clarity, and warmth to the people and projects we serve.
People first, always. We care about who we’re working with just as much as what we’re making.
Design with purpose. Every project deserves intention, clarity, and creativity.
Stay curious. We’re always learning, growing, and exploring new ideas.
Rooted in community. We draw inspiration from where we live—and give back when we can.
Make it feel good. If it’s not warm, welcoming, or worth sharing, it’s not Highland Haus.
Together, we run Highland Haus from a cozy backyard studio in Shreveport with our kids, our dogs, and a deep love for our community
Lauren is the creative brain (and probably the messy desk) behind Highland Haus. As Co-Founder and Lead Designer, she’s in charge of all things visual—logos, branding, digital goodies, and the occasional "what if we tried this wild idea?" moment. A South Highlands native with deep Shreveport roots, Lauren grew up surrounded by art, color, and a whole lot of character—and it shows. She’s on a mission to make design feel like a conversation, not a transaction. At Highland Haus, with a soft spot for storytelling, she’s not just creating pretty things—she’s helping people feel seen, heard, and proud of their story.
Bud is the heart behind the operations at Highland Haus—the guy making sure the wheels turn smoothly while the creativity machine hums (with monster energy drink in hand). As Business Manager, he handles client relations, contracts, workflow coordination, and all the behind-the-scenes magic that keeps the Haus prestine. A proud veteran who served two tours in Iraq as a combat medic, Bud brings a calm presence, a rock-solid work ethic, and a knack for solving problems before they even show up. Raised in Southern Hills, he knows the power of community, service, and a good story—and he makes sure every client feels like part of ours.
